First Flood of the Bible
In the Bible we all know about "The Great Flood of Noah" period, but what about the flood before that??
Genesis 1:2 NKJV
The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
In this verse we can see the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. But creation haven't started yet. The creation started from verse 3rd.
Genesis 1:3 NKJV
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
Light was the first thing God creates.
Now the question is from where the Water comes from? In fact, if we read full passage of Genesis 1 it never says God create water. What God did is.
1. God divide the waters from the Waters: Genesis 1:6 Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
2. Gather the Water: Genesis 1: 9 Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.
3. Fill it with Living Creatures: Genesis 1:20 Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.”
There was a "Greater Flood" before God started his creation. The Flood which was used to contain the Fallen angles.
Darkness (i.e. fallen been) was there in the Deep and Sprit of God hover above the face of the waters as a Guard.
